Jantar Mantar II

Jantar Mantar galleries II and III (2001-2004) present renderings of 360 x 360 panoramas of the Jantar Mantars, the 18th-century astronomy observatories built in India by Jai Singh II. An immersive virtual tour of the observatories based on these panoramas can be seen at www.jantarmantar.org. The panoramas also comprise the immersive section of Celestial Mirror: the Astronomical Observatories of Jai Singh II by Barry Perlus, published by Yale University Press in 2020.
