Barry Perlus is an Associate Professor of Art at Cornell University, where he also serves as associate dean in the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning. He has been teaching courses in photography at the undergraduate and graduate level since 1984. He has an MFA from Ohio University, and BA Undergraduate Scholar from Case Western Reserve University.

With an avid interest in both art and science, his artistic practice includes projects in photography and digital media, notably panoramic and immersive imagery. Professor Perlus is recognized for his project
